Yam germinates inside UNICAL male hostel while on lockdown
Some students left tubers of yam in their hostel room while leaving the place due the government’s lockdown rule…Overtime, due to prolonged closure of the school, the yam however have germinated and the stems grown covering everywhere from the bed to the window.
