Activist, Deji Adeyanju has reacted to the alleged arrest of billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana by the EFCC, lately.
We earlier reported that the nightlife entrepreneur was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged money laundering and tax fraud.
However, Deji Adeyanju who in July 2021 condemned the businessman for the grand funeral ceremony he held for his late mum, has taken to his social media page to react.
According to him, he had warned Obi Cubana to be careful but people mistook his friendly warnings for jealousy of the businessman.
Taking to his Twitter page to write regarding the latest development, Deji Adeyanju stated;
“When I told Obi Cubana to be careful, some people said I was jealous of him. It’s still much better to be arrested by EFCC than FBI. He should be celebrating that it’s EFCC. Calm down Obi. It’s not serious for now but it could get worse.”
