Popular Nollywood star, Funke Akindele has expressed discomfort over the mandatory dress code (the use of a face mask) that is imposed on all citizens of the world due to the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus disease.
Taking to her official Twitter handle to lament about this, Funke narrated that sometimes when she walks into an eatery with her sunglasses and face mask, she isn’t given the desired attention because her face is covered, but upon discovering who she is, they immediately switch to a proper style of greeting and approach.
In her words:
“U enter an eatery wearing ur face mask&sunglasses. u ask d attendants question and dey answer you reluctantly. Then maybe by chance dey see ur face and recognize you as an actress then that is when they will be like “awww it’s u jenifa,Hi” ana wah o!!”
