Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has come to the rescue of a Nigerian female basketball player who is said to be sick.
The Twitter handle of Nigerian basketball news, @titansbasket, had on Friday morning tweeted about the player, saying she is down with Tuberculosis of the Spine and needs N350k for treatment.
“One of our players, DEBORAH ONAH is down with Tuberculosis of the Spine. We solicit financial support as she undergoes treatment, at National Hospital Abuja. The goal is 350,000 Naira for cardiovascular surgery. No amount is too small,” the tweet read.
And after so many hours with no response, John Ogu, caught up with the tweet this Saturday early morning and transferred the cash immediately for treatment to commence.
