An early morning rainfall on Thursday in Lagoshas left residents of Anifowose Community, Ikeja, Agege, and most parts of Lekki stranded as roads and houses got flooded.
Most Lagosians in the flooded areas had to deal with struggling to go to work amid traffic caused by the floods.
Transporters also had to abandon their vehicles to sit at home until the rains stopped to avoid vehicular breakdown.
Some residents of the flooding areas took to social media to share photographs and videos of some heartbreaking scenes.
