Divine Ikubor (born 1 May 2000) known professionally as Rema, who won the next rated award for Headies 2019, has finally gone to pick up his award plaque along with his brand new car, a 2020 GAC.
Recall that last year’s Headies award, Rema was able to edge out other artistes such as Zlatan, Joeboy, FireBoy, Victor AD and Lyta.
Rema revealed that his busy schedule delayed pick up of the prize.
“Due to the problems in the country and my busy schedule, I have not been able to come pick up the car.
But right now, I am really laid back, so I had the time to come pick it up, big shoutout to HipTV for this one.
So yeah, time to drive home.” he said as he received the car.
The Headies awards started out in 2006 and it was formerly known as the ‘hip hop awards.’
