The Principal of Bethlehem Girls College, Rev. Sr Henrietta Alokha died on Sunday, March 15, 2020, following the explosion which occurred in Abule Ado community of Lagos State.
Rev. Sr Henrietta Alokha who worked hard to rescue some students trapped in the boarding school under her care, died after the roof of the educational facility fell on her.
Winner of Big Brother Naija 2019, Mercy Eke has reacted to the unfortunate demise of Rev. Sr Alokha, who sacrificed her life to save school children.
Mercy took to her Twitter page to praise the Rev. Sr and commiserate with families of the victims: “Not all heroes wear capes “Reverend Sister Henrietta Alokha (sacrificed her life to save school children) may there be jubilation in heaven for the arrival of Gods angel and to the families that lost love ones yesterday may God give you the strength to bear such great loss.”
