A grandmother who bathed her grandchildren aged 7 and 8 with pepper and also chained them naked for eating without her permission, has been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command. .
The grandmother identified simply as Mama Vera, subjected the two kids to the horrific act for drinking garri without her permission. .

Mama Vera who was also accused of stopping her grandchildren from going to school was arrested after their neighbours at Mgbuoba in Obio/Akpor Local Government area of Rivers State, broke into her apartment after the children cried out for help.
